I don't know if you're familiar with the community blog Less Wrong, but I think it would be of interest to everyone here. The blog attempts to be a near-comprehensive resource on all the ways humans are bad at thinking -- and how we might fix them. Topics discussed include evolutionary psychology, cognitive neuroscience, probability theory, epistemology, Artificial Intelligence, Transhumanism, etc.
Though all of this discussion fits into a broader technical project centered on building safe human-level artificial intelligence, community members also organize meetups all over the world wherein they discuss rationality and related issues.
I'm not sure what a LW meetup consists of (there are lots of discussions on the website about games and activities which improve rationality), but it seems like something this group might be interested in pursuing. Of course I'd be happy to help.
