Foraging and Harvesting Edible and Medicinal Plants

  • Sep 7, 2013 · 9:30 AM
  • Heather Gendvilas at Blessings Farm

Take a walk on the wild side at Blessings Farm and neighboring woods to discover which plants/roots are possible to eat and heal. Jennifer has a gift for sharing her passion about what is real and beneficial from nature. If you have not heard her teach, you are in for a treat! Her enthusiasm is catching! After this class we will never look at a weed or root the same. Jennifer may have medicinal salves for sale.

About 4 more weeks of this would be great. Too much for my little mind to inhale in
only one short class. Loved it. Possible to hand out "recipes" and/or best uses? I tried to get it all down, but....alas!

    Greetings!
    Just a FYI
I will have a Heal All Salve for sale $6 for a 4 oz. jar. It is made exclusively from backyard weeds! Good for scrapes, cuts, burns, cracked skin & dry skin.

After the walk we will discuss some of the plants we have seen more in depth and their medicinal and everyday uses.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

I love natural healing and been looking for a group like this. I'm excited. Can I bring my son?

Hi Tina, Yes, children are welcome to come if they can be respectful of adults who have come to learn. Last week there were 20+ Adults here and no children.

Let me check with the Mr. and see if we can make this work. This is something I need to do since I'm not from here and am not sure what is healing, edible or poisonous.

We can choose to see the world as we wish. That said, isn't it a magical world indeed! So much life abounds around our energetic beings. Come learn what grows beneath our feet and see what can be saved from the spade.
