I've been doing a lot of independent study the last several years, and know quite a bit about health and nutrition. But there's always more to learn! I'm interested in spending time with like-minded, health-oriented folks.
If the meetups are easy to get to, the day/time fits my schedule, and there's a secure spot for my bicycle, then yes, i'd likely attend regularly. Most places in eastern Beaverton are probably easy for me to get to, but Aloha is a bit far for me (i.e. less likely to attend regularly, but it depends).
I believe that raw foods -- particularly unpasteurized fermented foods -- are essential to optimal health. But cooking also has its place; it's not totally evil. We just over do it in modern times (and accounts for many diseases).
