Raw Food Central Monthly Meetup

  • Aug 11, 2013 · 5:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Our gatherings are a social event geared to long friendships with like minded people as we all "Discover the Benefits of Eating Raw Food"

What to bring:

  • A completely RAW, organic dish that can serve samples to approx. 15 people
  • Your recipe or a list of the ingredients that you used
  • An open mind, a friendly smile and a big appetite
  • Your own plate, utensils, napkins and beverage

Not sure how to make a RAW dish?  It's easy, just prepare something simple using ORGANIC fruits, vegetables, seeds or nuts. (That means absolutely no processed foods, sauces, condiments, etc. It also means no toasting, boiling, baking, frying or microwaving and definitely nothing from a can, jar, package or pre-made from a grocery store!

*If you're bringing a guest, please be sure to pass this information along because if they want to participate, they'll also need to contribute.

OK, it may sound like a challenge if you're not used to this food preparation style but trust me, it's easier than you think! If you have no idea what to make, just do a search on-line for "raw food recipes" and you'll find plenty of websites with free recipes. If you're still at a loss or have questions, you can always feel free to contact me directly or click HERE for some raw vegan recipes.

Don't stress about what to bring! If you can't think of something that fits the criteria then just bring a bowl of fresh, organic fruit! Really, it's that easy!!

Please note: Although there is no charge for this event, a small donation to the generous hosts is greatly encouraged and appreciated!
