NEW UPDATE: Hi everyone! Just a reminder the book club is this Thursday at 7 at our house. ALSO, NO POTLUCK this time (so the pressure is off to find something to bring) but we will have a selection of teas to choose from! See you Thursday!

Yay! Very excited for our next meet up :)

I'm somewhat partial to The Pleasure Trap, but definitely open to other ideas. They all sound pretty interesting.

For anyone looking to read a fairly light book on the side, "Main Street Vegan: Everything you need to know to eat healthfully and compassionately in the real world" by Victoria Moran, is a good read. It's got recipes and resources for compassionate living. She also quotes Dr. Fuhrman a few times ;)

Also, thank you everyone for suggesting the, "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" documentary. It was AMAZING.

Hey! I met Victoria Moran at last Portland Vegfest and she has a weekly podcast available on iTunes (Main Street Vegan) or Unity Online Radio. That book is great. "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" is wonderful, too. The documentarian, Joe Cross, has a new book out -- it's mainly juice recipes. But the forward is by Fuhrman!
