HEALTHY FAST FOOD

Raw fruit has been the basis of my vegetarian diet for 40 years.
Because I enjoy eating raw fruit and raw nuts.
I also fast every month, on water only, for at least 2 to 3 days.
Fasting cleans the toxins, that are the causes of most diseases, such as heart and artery diseases, cancers, allergies and chronic pain, out of your body.
[Fasting keeps my body so pure that I have not bathed since 11th April 2007.]
I have been a vegetarian for more than 40 years.
Including, 18 continuous years as a vegan.
And, I have been a veganic gardener for more than 40 years.
With edible gardens and edible weed gardens as well as herb gardens and bird attracting gardens.
And, eating and growing bush foods.
Veganic gardeners and farmers do not use blood and bone from abattoirs, chicken dung from factory farms, or spray their crops with fish emulsions, as many organic growers do.
Organic growers can use as much as 2 kg to 3 kg, of poultry manure from factory farms, to produce 1 kg of wheat.
[NOTE: Many organisers of 'Vegan' and 'Raw Food' groups promote 'organic' food, without telling their vegan members, that organic food is grown in blood and bone and manure and sprayed with fish emulsion. ]
Veganic and Biodynamic Farming and Agriculture and Permaculture are also far better for the environment than Organic.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PREGNANCIES and BABIES
Some of the above diets can provide 'miraculous cures', of almost any disease, in the short-term, because they are detox diets.
But, some, especially vegan diets, are not suitable as long-term diets, because they can lead to other diseases, such as anaemia and permanent nerve damage, due to deficiencies. [Even though most vegans do use supplements.]
This is especially important with pregnancies and babies.
Babies have been born with defective hearing, defective vision, . . .
Some babies have died due to restrictive diets.
Many others have failed to thrive.
Even breast milk, can be deficient, if the mother is on a deficient diet.
HEALTH THROUGH HEALTHY LIVING
The above diets and lifestyles are based on philosophies of health through healthy living.
And, not by either medical or alternative health 'cures'.
Diseases are caused by a build up of toxins in your body.
By missing needs including rest, exercise, sunshine, pleasant company, a positive purpose in life, . . .
And, by deficiencies such as vitamin B12 in vegan diets.
Death rates have fallen, sometimes to national record lows, when medical doctors have gone on strike.
And, many alternative health therapies and therapists and quacks are as useless as they are expensive.
But, both profit from the gullibility, fear and ignorance of people.
RAW VEGAN, PRIMAL and PALEO DIETS
Raw Vegan, Primal and Paleo diets can be seen as attempts to get back to a natural human diet.
All 3 have some healthy ideas - such as not eating modern processed foods, junk foods, refined sugars, refined carbohydrates, . . .
But, I think that all 3 have some unhealthy ideas and some unnecessary restrictions.
MILK and EVOLUTION
Vegetarian, Primal and Paleo diets can include milk but Vegan diets do not.
But, people have evolved and are continuing to evolve.
People have been drinking fermented milk, or eating yoghurt and cheese, for at least 11,000 years.
And, because of a mutation that occurred, about 7500 years ago in Indo-Europeans, about 80% of modern Europeans, and many Indians, can digest lactose [milk sugar] as adults.
The spread of this gene, to 80% of the modern European population, indicates a considerable evolutionary advantage for those who have this gene.
And, use it.
[If you are a creationist then, 4000 years ago in the Bible, Abraham gave his adult guests milk to drink, and Abraham was promised a land 'flowing with milk and honey'.]
But, if you are going to drink milk, as I do, then I recommend that you drink mainly skim milk.
People who are lactose intolerant can eat yoghurt or older, matured cheeses.
FRESH HUMANELY PRODUCED EGGS and RESCUE HENS
If you really like real fresh, humanely produced eggs.
If you really like animals.
Have sufficient time and space.
And, would like to have hens as pets.
You could adopt Rescue Hens from Edgar's Mission or Animal Liberation.
Rescue Hens have usually been rescued from factory farms.

SHORT and LONG TERM
From DETOX to DEFICIENCY
I was a vegan for 18 years.
People often improve their health short-term, even for a few years, on vegan diets, because vegan diets can be detox diets.
So can fasting, intermittent fasting, juice fasting and calorie restricted diets.
[That is why so many new vegans say they have never been healthier.]
But, long-term, even though most vegans do use supplements, most vegans do get other diseases due to deficiencies. [Just as with too much fasting and calorie restriction.]
Painful bleeding gum recession is a common deficiency disease among vegans.
Followed by nerve degeneration and anaemia.
[But, few ex-vegans are as passionate, about telling people of the long-term deficiencies diseases.]
SUPPLEMENTS and so-called WONDER FOODS and SUPER-FOODS
If you have deficiencies then I think that you should improve your diet.
And, not try to prop up a deficient diet with 'super' supplements.
If you want mineral or trace element supplements then you could eat seaweed.
Seaweed grows in sea water.
So seaweed has all the minerals and trace elements in it.
Iodine, chromium, selenium, lithium, cobalt, vanadium, silver, . . .
Which land grown plants might lack.
If you want vitamin supplements, and you are a vegetarian, then you could drink skim milk.
[Skim milk can still contain vitamin D as water-soluble vitamin D sulphate.]
If you are allergic to cows' milk then there is goats' milk and A2 cows' milk.
If you are lactose intolerant then you could try non-fat yoghurt and the older, harder mature cheeses.
If you are a vegan it might not be so easy.
Which is why so many vegans eventually get painful, bleeding gums, anaemia and nerve damage due to a vitamin B12 and other deficiencies.
[Even though most vegans do include animal products, such as fish emulsion, in their diets, by eating organic food, it is not enough to prevent deficiencies.]
CALCIUM and OSTEOPOROSIS
Vegans, overall, get 30% more hip fractures than milk-drinking vegetarians.
But, vegans who are getting at least 525 mg Calcium per day get the same fracture rates as milk-drinking vegetarians.

Vegans also tend to have 5% less calcium in their bones than milk-drinking vegetarians. Because vegan diets are often low in calcium. And, the phytates and oxalates in many plant foods can reduce calcium absorption.
Vegans should also be careful to get sufficient vitamin D and vitamin B12.
The only supplement I use is sublingual vitamin B12.
You let these tablets dissolve under your tongue, so some of the vitamin B12 is absorbed directly into your bloodstream, without the need of the intrinsic and other factors.
MISLEADING and DECEPTIVE CONDUCT
There are many groups for vegans.
Unfortunately, many of these groups do not tell vegans that 'organic' food is often grown in blood and bone, chicken dung, cattle manure and sprayed with fish emulsion.
Indeed, many vegan groups promote organic food, events at organic restaurants, . . .
Some even tell their members to bring organic food to their events.
And, while they extol the short-term detox benefits of vegan diets, they are often silent or minimise, even trivialise, the long-term permanent damage.
Committee members and organisers of such 'vegan' groups are engaging in misleading and deceptive conduct.
Some, also promote quackery.
There is a lot of quackery in alternative health.
For example, double blind trails have shown that as a diagnostic method, kinesiology and touch for health, are no better than guessing.
When I meet people, who are into kinesiology or touch for health, I use their own trick against them.
I ask them to hold their arm out.
And, to tell me how good it is.
While I pull their arm down with one finger.
Then I ask them to say kinesiology is a quackery.
While I do not pull their arm down.
Even while using my whole hand.
One woman then told me that she had spent thousands of dollars on that quackery.
Another easy scam to do is Psychic Surgery.
Psychic Surgeons palm chicken gut and then say they have removed a cancer or whatever.
If only it were that easy to remove cancers!
THE CHINA STUDY
Vegans often refer to The China Study.
Some call it, 'The Most Comprehensive Study Of Nutrition Ever Conducted'.
But, how many vegans, if any, were in the China Study?
And, can a Study of 6500 people in rural China, in the 1970s, really be, 'The Most Comprehensive Study Of Nutrition Ever Conducted'?
And, why do so many "vegans" choose a T Colin Campbell, a rat-research vivisector, to tell them to eat a raw-food, plant-based, wholefood diet?
When so many anti-vivisectionists, have taught the same thing, long before T Colin Campbell and his rat vivisection.
[I have eaten a raw-food, plant-based, wholefood diet since 1972, based on the writings of anti-vivisectionists.]
The EPIC (the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition), initiated in 1992, is far larger.
Involving over 500,000 people in 10 European countries.
The Oxford component of EPIC includes 24,987 vegetarians and 2,162 vegans.
Because so few meetup groups cover some of the above diets.

YOU CAN BRING YOUR FRIENDS
You can always bring your friends and children to our events.
All our walks are dog-friendly. Unless there are specific restrictions. For example, dogs are not allowed in some national parks. Such as The Dandenong Ranges National Park, Kokoda Trail, 1000 Steps Walk.
And, on some of our walks, we can meet and talk to horses. [See photos.]
EVERYTHING HERE IS FREE
Some people and groups charge people hundreds, even thousands, of dollars for wholefood classes, raw food preparation classes or chemical-free, raw living food classes.
And, promote expensive, unnecessary and sometimes potentially harmful, so-called 'natural' supplements, treatments and therapies.
[The only supplement I use is sublingual vitamin B12.]
And, even charge for self-sufficiency, camping, outdoors, bush-craft and eat the weeds walks.
Everything is free.
