Our Mission is to inform as well as take action regarding health issues and the many health concerns that arise within our communities. This group can cover the gamut from Raw Food Recipes and their benefits, to the devastating effects of Fluoride in our water supply and toxic ingredients in products. We don't see how we could talk about just one arena since they are all connected in the larger picture. Wherever you are on your path to becoming healthier, this site is here to help.
You've heard it before - You are what you eat. Living foods consist of raw, minimally processed fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains, and legumes. They are prepared at the optimal temperature of 118 degrees, for optimal flavor and nutrition. Using unique, modern techniques, the food is as beautiful as it is delicious. Living Foods contain all of their natural beauty and nutrition...that's why they are referred to as “living”.
Let's gather and share food, drink, recipes and ideas on how we can create vibrant health in our lives and the ones we love.
This Meetup is for people who are interested in incorporating more living food into their diet. There will definitely be a component of nutrition and science. This is also a great place for people that are gluten free, dairy free and/or sugar free.
The Pages button above lists a number of topics that are important to know if you are looking to improve your overall health. Responsibility is "The Ability to Respond" and we are using that innate ability to reach and stretch beyond the comforts of every-day-life to an "organic self actualizing type of responsibility". We all deserve to know the truths about The Health of Our World and if we don't MeetUp then we may never know.
Enjoy all the recipes that are posted on the Pages page.
The reason we call our members "Raw Food Enthusiasts" is because Raw represents pure nutrients at their source and Food is what we all need to nourish our bodies, minds and souls and Lovers are for all who love to do just that.
