This is going to be the first meetup for this group, where we will introduce ourselves, and talk about our plans and goals for this group, as well as for ourselves. Let's each bring a simple raw vegan dish to share. If you can't think of any raw vegan recipe, just bring cut up vegetables or fruits. Please, use organic produce if possible. Here is a list of ingredients that are NOT allowed in our potlucks: Honey (not vegan), Braggs Amino Acids, fermented vegetables, raw miso, Nama Shoyu, any kind of vinegar, liquid smoke, kelp noodles. If you include nuts in your dish, please make sure they are raw, and not roasted. If you have an allergy to any fruits, vegetables, or nuts, please let everyone know in the comments section. For this potluck you may use onion, garlic, herbs, salt, raw seaweed, and dried vegetables/fruits that were not heated above 115F. I advice against buying prepared salads or sauces as they may contain ingredients that are not raw or vegan. Well, that's about it. I'm excited to meet you all there!
