If you are raw or vegan and you have ever dated a non raw/vegan then you will know it can certainly become challenging when someone doesn't share your understandings or hold the same beliefs about the food we eat and the lifestyle we lead.

Some vegans are more serious than others and ethical motivations are often at the heart of many raw/vegan food choices. For others it is about the desire to live a healthy lifestyle. Meal times can be challenging to say the least! That’s why we feel that single raw/vegans need a group all for themselves so that at least you know that all the people coming to our events are at least on the same page (although some will be more vegan than others.)

The events we will organise will be a variety of fitness, spiritual and just plain social events; we do not believe that alcohol will play a part in these events and although alcohol will not be banned we urge you to respect that and try to meet people in your normal, beautiful state, and not drug affected!

We will have the help of some veteran vegans to advise and support us in any way we need, in addition to helping find venues for our events. We welcome any help, advice and information offered by members with any knowledge or skills to offer. Please do not think of this group as a cheesy speed date type group or internet dating, there is still a small stigma attached to these things and we aim for non profit/cheap events or pay for what you want meetups. There will be some raw food workshops and nutriion based events taking place as well that that there will be a charge for.
