Raw revolution bars also make a great snack or dessert!! My favorite is the chocolate raspberry! They cost $1.99 each and you can get them at sprouts, clarks and goodwins. This is what they look like: http://shop.advantagenutrition.com/mobile/raw-revolution-bars-c488.aspx

Sometimes I'll get more creative and make ants on a log, with a raw nut butter, celary and raisins. Or I'll make a yummy trailmix with raw nuts, raisins, cacao nibs, goji berries, etc.

Snacks I keep very simple -- we munch on raw fruits and veggies (carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, apples banana, oranges, etc.)

Here are some simple, quick lunch recipes: Nori hand rolls! I keep my recipe pretty simple for this one: seaweed, avocado, shredded carrots and soy sauce. they have all these ingredients raw and organic at goodwins organics and I think clarks. Here is a great link on how to prepare them: http://www.thisrawsomeveganlife.com/2013/06/raw-nori-wraps-with-red-cabbage.html?m=1

We enjoyed a smoothie of raw spinach, pear, pineapple, blueberries, tangerines and banana. I made 8 cups, so we each could have 2 cups for breakfast and 2 for later. ☺Yum!

A delicious morning salad: 2 cups chopped kale, 1 avocado, 1 tomato, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup olive oil and salt to taste... using a spoon, mash and whip the avocado in a bowl, until all the lumps are gone. Throw in the kale and olive oil and mix thoroughly until all the kale is mixed in well. Throw in the other ingredients and any other spices that you like. This is such a creamy, delicious salad!

Banana nut treat. This is also one of my favorite breakfasts and I find that it keeps me full for a long time: 1 banana, 4 tbsp of raw peanut butter (almond butter works well too), 1 cup of raisins, 2 tbsp of raw agave, 1 tbsp of raw cacao nibs (optional, but so delicious if you like the combination of bitter and sweet, like I do :). Mash the banana in a bowl, mix in the nut butter and agave unil they are smooth, throw in the raisins, cacao nibs, grab a spoon and go to heaven! :).

Go raw live granola cereal. This is a bit pricy, but I think it's worth it. Soak itin milk (raw dairy milk, or raw nut milk works well) for 10 min before eating. Top with your fav fruit and dates (optional) It's definitely a delicious and nutricious treat!

chopped up apples with nut butter spread on each slice. This is one of my favorite breakfasts. So simple, yet so delicious :). sometimes i mix the nut butter with raw agave, depending on my mood. (The raw nut butters I use are almond and peanut. I'll post an awesome easy nut butter recipe soon!)

Banana pancakes: 1 banana, 2 tbsp dried coconut flakes, a dash of cinnamon, 2 tbsp raw honey (optional)...mash the banana with a fork, until it's creamy, add the coconut flakes and cinnamon, mix until it forms a dough. Flatten the dough into small pancakes. You can eat them right away, or put them under direct sunlight for 1 hour on each side. Top with raw honey.

2 bananas, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup of ice, 2 cups of greens (spinach or kale work well) 3 cups of raw apple juice (goodwins, or juice you can it yourself :). 1 cup water, and 1 tpsp of super greens powder (optional). Blend until smoothe, serve with a straw and enjoy :).
