i have been snacking on persimmons (fuyu) in the mornings, so sweet and delicious, they are in season, grown in California, best to wait till they are a tiny bit soft........i put them in my green smoothie instead of bananas for creaminess............if you are not eating tons of these right now, go buy some!! yummmm!
pomegrantes are also in season now and local, i cover myself with a towel, hold the beauty over and as close to inside the vitamix i can, poke a hole, squeeze out the juice, then cut in half, and with a spoon, i empty out all the pearls inside, and some of the pith too, makes a ROCKIN' GREEN SMOOTHIE!
