Show your raw holiday “spirit!”

As we prepare to enter the holiday season, join us for a very special meeting of the Des Moines Raw Food MeetUp Group. Our November event will be held at the recently opened Jasper Winery, and in addition to our usual raw food demonstration and yummy potluck, we’ll hear from Jasper’s winemaker! Mason Groben – one of the winery’s owners – will give us some pointers on pairing wine with our raw fare.

We will be partnering with the Ankeny Raw Food Group (they call themselves RAWphoriaLIVE) for this event, so there will be more fun people – and more great food – than usual. This is a don’t-miss MeetUp for sure!

Please come to:

* Watch an instructional demo by a certified raw food chef
* Taste delicious, natural goodies and share recipes
* Hear how other people are adding more vibrant raw foods into their diets
* Participate in wine tasting and learn about how to select wine that complements your favorite foods. (Registration fee includes wine, if you choose to partake. Sorry, no discount for non-drinkers.)

BRING: $10 if you bring a vegan raw dish to share, and $20 if you do not. THIS IS A ONE-TIME INCREASE FROM OUR USUAL COST FOR MEETINGS! Check out the web for recipes, and bring any sort of an appetizer, salad, desert or main dish…as long as it is vegan, raw and preferably organic!

Additionally, please consider bringing your own plate/fork. In an effort to be "greener," only a limited number of disposable plates/forks will be available: the earth thanks you!
