Unplug & Recharge: A 10 DAY PROGRAM STARTING ON JANUARY 24

  • January 24, 2014 · 11:00 PM
  • This is an on-line program

Consider joining us for "Unplug & Recharge," a revitalizing and refreshing body and mind detox. You’ll experience cleansing on all levels with this special program designed to rebalance and restore you.

There are two versions of the Unplug & Recharge program. You can choose the level of cleansing that feels right for you.

1) A 10-day “juice only” deep cleanse — includes an optional 5-day herbal cleanse.* You will want to have access to a good juicer for this option.

2) A 10-day “liquids only” cleanse — you enjoy smoothies, blended soups and juices. This also includes an optional 5-day herbal cleanse*. You will want to have access to a blender (and possibly also a juicer) for this option.

*Taking part in the herbal cleanse is not required. There is an additional charge of $79 for the herb kit if you decide to participate.

Start your 10-day Unplug & Recharge program on Friday, January 24 by signing up here.

Also plan to come to the orientation session on Monday, January 20 to get your questions answered before you start. (Register for orientation separately on this website)

The $79 fee includes:

An 18-page booklet of delicious recipes

Daily emails and lessons about such topics as cleansing techniques, dealing with social pressure and how to properly reintroduce food

Sheree Clark, health and nutrition counselor and owner of Fork in the Road will lead the program. You determine the pace and intensity of your cleanse with help and guidance.

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well. I starting easing off yesterday as I have some events this weekend. Overall, a good experience. Really got into juicing again -- although this morning at 0:dark:30 I started juicing without the cup under the spout. Whoops! Also got into the dry brush and neti again; still keeping up with tongue scraper and lemon juice in morning that I started last time. I feel lighter and cleaner -- thanks Sheree and everyone! Keep calm and juice on!

Kim, why don't you stay on it for a little bit longer? You know the drill…Just remember, how you break your fast is important. Go slow. Also, you ned to have a plan for what your "new normal" is -- what will you change as a result of your new knowledge?

Thanks for the information on oral health. I just got my tongue scraper in the mail today. Still waiting on the body scrubber.

Feeling good today - what a treat to see Sherri at yoga this morning. I have just one more word: MISO! It is a life-saver on these cold days!

As my third time thru one of Sheree's juice fasts, I'd have to say this one is the most mentally challenging for me; don't feel as prepared. But also know how good I feel when I do it too. What recipes is everyone trying/liking?!?

Mmm, the pineapple/beet/celery/ginger sounds good. I always go light on ginger as a little goes a long way, at least for me. And I'm always looking for ways to incorporate beet 'cause I know how good they are for your liver but they always make me think of how dirt would taste, only sweeter.

Yellow or candy striped beets are less earthy tasting, usually. And remember, you can juice the greens as well!

How's everyone doing? Did you get your first emails? I have to drive to Ames today. I am taking juice, kombucha and water in a cooler (Ha! The cooler is so it doesn't all FREEZE!)

That's one of the side benefits of this -- we get really find out how much mindless eating we do!

Yes, I agree! How we just take a taste of this or that without even realizing.

Hi everyone, busy weekend here leading yoga teacher training so haven't been online much, but I have been sending you all good vibes! Looking forward to a quieter week where I can have some down time. I have been having smoothies in morning, but now switching to juice. I have been drinking all the recommended water and my oh my, things have been MOVING!

Yes. last night was hard for me. Didn't feel too great. I think I was drinking too much sugar (fruit) and not enough vegs.

So what I am getting to .. Ur email this morning was right on target with me... I know I have a lot of toxins but geez.... Had a bzy day yesterday w/temptations.. But stayed strong! I do feel better this morn other then dry sinuses.. On day 3 already! Yea!!!

Ah, welcome to detoxing: Good for you! (Now you know why I suggest starting on a Friday!). If you have a little sesame seed oil (not toasted) put some on your baby finger and massage into your nostrils: might help that dry feeling (also a neti pot if you have one). Another oil may work but I use sesame.
