My diet consists of fish, chicken, eggs, infrequent red meat, (bake, broil or grill) fresh uncooked veggies (occasionally blanch), fresh fruit, whole grains. No canned or processed foods, except canned tuna in water. Use salt sparingly by choice.
I am open to learning more how to incorporate it into my diet and learn how to make some raw food recipes.
My challenges are being consistent in the amount vitamin K foods I eat (on blood thinner), maintaining regular eating habits & cooking for both myself and my dad (who, due to his condition, eats a slightly different diet than what I eat).
I have an oriental salad recipe, however the recipe is geared more toward a big crowd. I make a killer salsa from my garden. My recipes are more of a 'toss & throw' method, which I make up as I go.
