I would say that I do eat a lot of standard American foods, but I make sure to consumed them in moderation. Every day I focus on limiting processed foods and eating more fruits and vegetables. Some days are better than others and I have a lot of room to continue to grow!
To find great tasting and easy to prepare healthy food options. Also, I always enjoy meeting other health conscious people who inspire me to be a better me!
I find that I do not like many vegetables so it is a constant struggle to have variety and not eat the same things over and over again and get bored. Also, some weeks I do not prepare food and shop for the upcoming week and find that is when I do not eat as well and also consume the foods I crave such as sweets.
My first experience with raw food was when I did the Raw Food event in 2012 with Sheree Clark and Kerri Rush. I was lucky enough to get to have the raw food meal and was extremely surprised how much I enjoyed the food. Although I was sure I would not like many of the foods due to the ingredients I was pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed the foods as well as felt full and did not have cravings the rest of the day. Although I do not have the recipe my favorite foods were the raw lasagna and raw truffles.
