Another fun potluck at my home!
We are making the shift as a family to do as much raw as we can. I need to find more family friendly recipes and so I thought this would be a fun way to share things that we love and get to taste it all.
I don't have a huge home but enough space to fit people both inside and out. I will provide plates, utensils, cups, and a few things to share. I would like you to bring a food item to share with the group and the recipe so that if people want it they can write it down.
You are welcome to bring your whole family since we are a family of 6. Kid's ages 8, 6, 4, and 2. I have a playset in the backyard and a trampoline.
Raw Potluck: we ask you to bring a 100% raw, organic, unprocessed, non-animal based (vegan with no honey) ready-to-serve dish for as many people as have RSVP'd to this meetup MINUS 10 (to account for no-shows). In other words, if you see 30 RSVPs on this meetup, make a dish that will serve a tasting for 20 people. The idea is that everyone can have a small tasting of your delicious creation.
If you are attending with a guest, please consider bringing two dishes; a dish and a beverage; or simply make more of the one dish you are preparing.
Please bring a typed or neatly printed recipe to display next to your dish, ideally with copies for people to take with them if they choose so.
The below list of raw vegan dish ideas may help you to decide what to bring to our potluck events:
1. You could bring an organic fresh salad
2. There are plenty of raw recipes available online:
3. Most raw food books have raw recipes
4. Organic raw fruit, fruit salad, or raw nuts
Our home is in the North west section of Vegas (the closest cross streets are Bradley and Tropical). My number is[masked] if anyone has questions about what to bring or how to get here.
