Join us for a Raw Vegan Potluck at Summer's Home!

Please welcome new raw vegan potluck host Summer MacKenzie-Devine, who has graciously offered to host her first raw potluck at her home for us  on that Sunday!

Meet like-minded people who will share their healthy living path and get ideas to realize your own health goals!

You can show off your own raw (un)cooking skills or bring some goodies from a raw food restaurant to share at our RAW VEGAN POTLUCK!

We love welcoming newbies, so don't be shy to join us!

In this meetup group we come from many different paths in life and simply love to share the endless bounty and health benefits of raw living foods. There is no better opportunity to try raw foods than right here, where you get to sample anywhere from 10 to 30 dishes lovingly crafted by people who care about what they eat!

At 12:30 pm we will start our POTLUCK with meet & greet and at 1:00 pm we will start eating.

"I am a proud mother of two teenagers and work full time & part time I work as a free-lance makeup artist. One of my favorite hobbies is enjoying good food with friends. I am fairly new to Vegan & Raw eating. I have always tried to eat healthy & these potlucks opened my eyes up to an entirely new diet that is nutritious & delicious. It's been so much fun for me to discover so much about food that I would have never known were it not for the potlucks."

Summer has two doggies that will probably be in a different room, as they get very friendly. She also has four cats that walk in and out. Please keep this in mind in case you have allergies!

Please note that Summer's pool has NO fence, so small kids may be endangered if attending. Older kids are welcome!

Below are some guidelines for our raw vegan potlucks

Raw Vegan Potluck: we ask you to bring a 100% raw, organic, unprocessed, non-animal based (vegan with no honey) ready-to-serve dish for as many people as have RSVP'd to this meetup MINUS 20 % (to account for no-shows). In other words, if you see 30 RSVPs on this meetup, make a dish that will serve a tasting for 20 - 24 people.

If you are attending with a guest, please consider bringing two dishes or a dish and a beverage.

Please bring a typed or neatly printed recipe to display next to your dish, ideally with copies for people to take with them if they choose so.

We also ask you to please arrive within 30 minutes of the start time of the potluck, as we usually wait for everyone to be there to do introductions. Please call or text Ina at[masked] if you can't make it on time and then we can start without you!

The below list of raw vegan dish ideas may help you to decide what to bring to our potluck events:

1. You could bring an organic fresh salad

2. There are plenty of raw recipes available online:

3. Most raw food books have raw recipes

4. Organic raw fruit, fruit salad, or raw nuts

I look forward to seeing you at the potluck - call me if you have any questions!

Wish there was a way to find out the location in advance. I would love to come but I have some previous commitments, so whether I attend or not depends on the location. So I'm going to RSVP and if it's not geographically feasible I'll cancel. Sorry.

    Hi Eric,
I would suggest looking up a simple recipe or picking up something to share from whole foods at one of their salad bars or from the Bronze Cafe etc. There is a ton of easy recipes online, its fun to try!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
