Community Supported Agriculture fresh delivered to my place in Fairfax

"I wanted to share some information about friends who run Sandy Spring CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). They have been around for ten years and have 900 members in Montgomery and Howard Counties.
They are expanding into Northern Virginia this year and will have new pick-up sites in Alexandria, Fairfax City, Great Falls, Falls Church, McLean and Reston.  All are at private homes.  They source from a cooperative of certified organic farmers in PA.  The share boxes have 8-12 items per week and their season runs the week of May 7 through the week of Oct 22.   They also offer other kinds of shares like fruit, flowers, and healing herbs.
You can check them out and join at or call Erin at[masked]-3927. Just wanted to share in case you are looking for a source for organic veggies straight from farmers."
Thank you Tina, I appreciate what you do!
