Our potlucks & occasional movie screenings are a great way to meet new people, eat great food, and have meaningful & fun conversation.
Here’s a little bit of background on what we mean by Raw, Living & Plant-Based:
Raw: foods that haven’t been heated above 118 degrees fahrenheit. They might be in whole food form, or turned into juices, smoothies, soups, pates, noodles, desserts dehydrated delicacies, and a whole host of nutritionally dense & flavorful dishes.
Living: foods that have enzymatic and/or microbial (think fermented foods) action going on, including but not limited to sprouts, kimchi, coconut kefir, rejuvelac & all kinds of krauts.
Plant-Based: fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, legumes, etc., but no animal protein, which includes dairy & eggs.
For our potlucks, Raw Food Friends bring raw and/or living dishes that are made from fresh, hopefully organic & as local as possible, plant-based ingredients.
