My nonfiction book was 1493 which I highly recommend if you're interested in how the world came to be as we know it. Since then I also finished A History of the World in Six Glasses - a great look at the roles played by beer, wine, spirits, tea, coffee, and Coca Cola in the evolution of ... again ... the world as we know it. This was a quick and easy read with lots of connections. I'm sorry I missed the group... and my parents are OK, just my turn. Thanks for asking!

All good! A very enjoyable and lively discussion. Thanks to Betsy for organizing, and for coming up with a new type of book club!

I am not going to be able to make it today...although had planned to come! Will miss every one! I have had a tooth acting up all weekend and feeling miserable with it (between painkillers!). My book was Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community and War by Nathaniel Philbrick. I have the set of disks if anyone wants to borrow it. It is long but fascinating and glad to lend it. just email me [masked] if you would like to borrow it and will get it to you or bring it next time!

I am going to read The Big Burn, about Teddy Roosevelt (my fav president) and the making of the national park system. It's been on my shelf. Within this group I have been trying to read books that I already own whenever possible!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
