Real Life Super Heroes, Masked Crime Fighters, Costumed Vigilantes, & Uniformed Mystery Detectives meet to share case files, organize citizen patrols, review investigations, analyze crime statistics, discuss law enforcement support, teach new techniques, tell success stories, plan charitable and educational events, send inspiring messages, and learn about resources for solving cases. Whether fighting crime, solving cold cases, researching records, or otherwise, this group is a support team for the super hero in costume or their alternative "civilian" persona. Discussions about investigative journalism, public records access, citizen arrests, martial arts, the use of force, maintaining privacy, weapons, armor, uniform design, team work, legal protections, medical backup, digital technologies, and more will occur, and professional speakers brought in to address these very issues. Civil codes, case law, codes of conduct and core values will be parsed as discussion and debate amongst this diverse community of characters. This is a serious group. It is NOT designed for the casual comic book fan, but rather for the dedicated superhero and their support team. Supporting staff, side kicks and other crime solvers ARE WELCOME. Out of town heroes from other jurisdictions are always welcome guests in our company. It is our hope to organize local WatchTower services to provide permanent, 24-hour support for crime fighting including but not limited to: 1. Records research and data analysis; active and cold case 2. RLSH Crime lab services 3. Superhero Emergency scanning and dispatch 4. Field support during emergencies; communication systems 5. Legal defense fund support 6. Reference clearinghouse for follow-up services to both masked members and the victims that they are helping 7. Training classes and seminars to hone investigative and other skills by inviting professional speakers to meet 8. Professional testimony & amicus briefs in cases related to this community 9. Privacy techniques, programs and materials to help members maintain their masked identity as secret
