Get Ready, Tucson...the World's Most Colorful 5K is Coming Your Way!

Run or Dye, the world's most colorful 5K, is coming to Pima County Fairgrounds on September 21. With more color and more fun than any other run in the country, you can bring all your friends and run a color-blasted 5K...where you get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based cornstarch dye at every kilometer. Then enjoy our world-famous Dye Festival afterward, where you can Tie-Dye the Sky (not to mention all your friends!) in this ultimate celebration of life, friendship, fitness, and fun.
RULES TO DYE BY:
1. Don't Worry, Dye Happy! Whether you're 7 or 70...a hardcore runner or a hardcore couch potato...an extravert or a bit on the shy side...Run or Dye is for you! Its all about living life in full color, so join us!

2. You Are Your Own Canvas, so wear whatever will show you off best! Choosing all white will accentuate the color...or you can kick it in a crazy outfit, like a toga or some leopard print PJ's. Whatever you wear, you'll look fantastic when our Color Crew (and your friends) are done dusting you with color!

3. Tell Everyone You Know! Remember: friends don't let friends dye alone! Round up all the gang and join the most colorful fun run that's ever come to Tucson!

Sounds good. I'm not sure when we are picking up our registrations. I'm with some other people and I'm not sure what the plan is afterwards, but I think brunch sounds like a great idea. Did you have places in mind? We'll probably be doing a slow run.

I am trying to get a fairly accurate head count for brunch as that will determine where we go. Several people signed up to group have not responded as to whether they have actually registered, so Iam not sure on numbers. Do you want to try to connect your group with ours?

Thanx for that new link, the other kept trying to get me to download updates before the info was shown. I'll probably do a hike instead and be close to finishing by the time the race starts.

Hi Melanie, I registered and will be there. I will be running (for the majority of the race). Brunch sounds fun, but I'm also planning to go to Oktoberfest on Mt. Lemmon with another meetup group.

Are we registering as a team? or individually?

      August 17, 2013

    • melanie

I already registered as an individual, but it would be great to have a team. Do you want to run with coordinating that?

I am NOT sure I will be available, as I am having Major Surgery on the 29th of August.
IF I am well enough I will try it out. Put me down as a MAYBE.

Edna, you can sign up at any time from my perspective. I know that the event has a maximum capacity and does sell out. I am going to take you off the RSVP list until you have registered for the run. I hope your surgery goes exceptionally well. I will send thoughts and prayers your way.Melanie
