Recovering from Religion DFW Message Board › Who would meet in Richardson ??? or, Online ?
hey everyone !!!
The meeting place "that was paid-for"
by the FoF group, had its funding cancelled
at the end of May after the May 20th meeting...
of course, most of you never knew we had
meetings every month up until 6 weeks ago.
I took over as host over two years ago when
the original group creator quit by vanishing...
it may seem to some that I've done the same
thing... so, to make it easier to understand,,,
first,,, last September I got mercury poisoning
which I have had a difficult time recovering
from. and due to the impact it had on my
immune system, I've been catching dern near
everything else... I had no voice 4 days last
week over my most recent strep throat ordeal.
you might be, like the majority of group
members, unaware that the recovery from
religion group has two web sites...
One I have access to, and one I never did.
unfortunately, the one I never had access to
had the most traffic... many people were
never even aware that we had monthly meetings
which just ended with the last meeting May 20.
at which time FoF Cancelled funding for, also
because of lack of interest in the meetings...
attendance was dismal.
Last month was the first month we did NOT
have a monthly meeting, but since hardly
anyone went, the FoF Group considered
NOT paying for our meeting place several times.
I feel it was all due to the dual-web-site issue
where I could not post any scheduled meetups
to the FoF Recover page... I was never given
access to it. not my fault, I tried.
I have since got access to a free meeting
space in Richardson, near the intersection of
Custer ParkWay and Campbell rd.
1980 Nantucket drive.
Please let me know how many of you would find
it easy to attend meetings there, and which day
( time ) would be best for you... and I will schedule
our first independent meeting ...
based on how many of you reply and how
possible your favorite times line up...
for 2 / 3 people, physical meetings might not
make much sense. but... we could also do online
forums for free, and start an active exchange of
help resources and personal communications...
there are over about 70 of us... unfortunately for
most of you I have no access to you the FoF page
for "recovering from religion" ... i'll try my best ( again )
to get assistance within the FoF group to help with
best wishes... hope to hear from you all soon.
and feel invited to email me at
