Friendly Chat (show up when you can)

This is our monthly meeting at which you can share your stories and hear stories from others who are just like you.

We don't allow preaching. This is about your personal journey and how you're living it.

We'll talk about mostly anything that is of a concern for you. We have a few basic topics, but we're not limited to the following:

  • How has religion hurt you?
  • How has religion hurt someone you love or is close to you?
  • How has your life improved since letting go of religion?

We encourage you to support the business at which we are meeting by purchasing something, but that's not required.

We hope to see you there!

I would have loved to have been a part of that conversation. A friend of mine has recommended the book and I can't put it down, he makes so much sense. Thanks Chris for posting the youtube, I will be watching the others Dr. Ray speaks on as well. Mondays are a good day for me, and I hope to attend the next meet-up in July. :)

We spoke about the forgiveness loop religions keep you coming back with. Dr. Ray talks about the Guild Cycle:

Haha, no, he's just a straight forward guy and will call someone out if he doesn't believe they are being logical.... Now, I might have wanted to slap you a few times though.... j/k. :) Seriously though, he appreciated the conversation and had a good time, as did I. :) See you Saturday.

Saturday it is. This seems to work for the majority of people. I've also moved it to the Fair Trade. I was in there ACCIDENTALLY the last meeting at the same time, and it was a ghost-town. They're open until 9 I think, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Remember, there is a giant parking structure around the back of the shops with parking there. Just look for the retail spaces.

Is there anyway to have it on saturday? I'm concerned about the traffic on a monday night as well, and I'm additionally not sure if my schedule can allow monday nights.
