Sorry for the 4th change on this event. The Hala Kahiki coffee house apparently does not open until 4pm. Let's make it Kopi's, final answer.

Sorry, the bus is late, so I'm running about 15-20 minutes late. I'll be there as soon as I can.

Granted, when I trusted the weather forecast last time it ended up being a perfectly fine day! I'm fine with either spot!

IF you do hit bad weather on the the 28th, there's a coffee place 2 miles east of the woods: http://www.yelp.com/biz/j-bean-coffee-norridge
28th sounds good!
Sounds good, it should start to be consistently nice outdoors, so a later date would probably be best ;)
I've just rescheduled for the 28th! Plus, since this event was posted somewhat last minute, it will give some new members a chance to join us!
I'm still game for tomorrow and planning on it. I'll keep an eye on this thread up until Noon tomorrow (when I'm planning to leave my area to drive over) to see if we're on or not. :-)
The weather forecast is still showing thunderstorms during our picnic. Rain, I think is OK. But thunderstorms might be a different story. How does everyone feel about rescheduling? Or is there enough protection at this park to outlast a thunderstorm?
Unfortunately I have to be downtown that afternoon, and cannot make this picnic.
Here is a helpful map: Picnic Groves to the north of Irving Park http://fpdcc.com/downloads/maps/pdf/SchillerWoods2009.pdf I don't see a Grove #15, but they also left out a Grove #8.

The parking lot is on the north side of Irving Park Rd. Some people may be coming from the west, so "right" wasn't a correct direction.

the monkey changed the location from Schiller Woods, Grove #15 (parking lot on right, just after Cumberland Ave) to Schiller Woods, Grove #15 (parking lot on right, just west of Cumberland Ave)
