The Recovery International program provides weekly peer-led meetings in North America and beyond. It is a safe, confidential place to talk about life's challenges and receive support for self-help efforts.
The Recovery International method is a system of cognitive-behavioral techniques developed by neuropsychiatrist Abraham Low, MD, used to change thoughts and behaviors; changes in attitudes and beliefs follow.
The techniques apply to any number of emotional or behavioral conditions. Whether you or someone you know is looking to overcome a specific fear or phobia, are sleepless because of stress or are dealing with anger, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, or depression, the Recovery International program can help. This is an evidence-based program. We are a legitimate non-profit organization.
In addition to our Wednesday 10:00 am meetings, we also meet every Monday morning at 10:00 in the same location. The Monday meetings are led by Allan.
An additional Monday night meeting (7:30 pm) can be found at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 30900 West Six Mile Road, Livonia, North side of Six Mile Rd., just west of Merriman Road.
