Sweat Lodge Ceremony In Cherryville, Mo.

Beginners are always welcome!
These sweat lodge ceremonies will take place in Cherryville/Steelville, Missouri.
There will be a ceremony each day, one Saturday, one Sunday.
Feel free to attend one or both.
Feel free to come early to help collect firewood too if you're able. :)
Tokani will be the pourer.
As always, proper dress code is required. Women should wear a skirt with a top, (a t-shirt is fine), men should wear shorts. No metal jewelry or belt buckles.
Please bring something to help rehydrate yourself after the sweat. Fruit is always a good choice.
No alcohol during or the night before.
Feel free to bring your drums, rattles, a change of clothing, and a towel.
We do have limited sleeping space, and a place to shower. First come first serve.
If you plan to stay the night, bring tents, blankets, and sleeping bags, just in case.
Hope to see you there!

Although I didn't formally sign up to attend I did go, along with my son and my niece who are both on winter break from college. We were all blessed by sharing this experience together. The snow falling early in the morning, the crackling fire, the water from the creek for the sweat and the cold, crisp air awakened our senses. We were revived both spiritually and physically and slept like babies that night. Thank you Lu, Tokani and Denise for making this happen.

Any chance of my catching a ride? What about that bus? I also have a lot of wood if someone else has a pickup. Let me know. [masked]

I won't be able to make it this time. Life happens and planes fall apart. If its still needed the wood is free. Old oak I cut last year. I'll help load if anyone wants to come get it. I'm off hwy 30 just past Y. About 15 min from NW highschool.

We do have the bus and can offer rides if we can get enough people to pay for the diesel. It is going to be around 100 bucks roundtrip to take the bus, but has room for many people. [masked]

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
