Welcome to the Red Rock Hiking Group, a hiking group based out of Southwest Utah. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced hiker, we’ve got hikes and outdoor fun for everyone! Take a chance to look around and check out some of our upcoming hikes and events. If there’s a particular hike you’re interested in, member suggestions are always appreciated and encouraged!
The main purpose of this group is to promote hiking and outdoor activities for hikers of all levels. We will post detailed descriptions for each hike, and it is up to the individual hiker to come prepared with the proper gear, as well as plenty of water. We will try to make the hike descriptions as direct and accurate as possible, but it is up to the individual to know their limits, and choose hikes that are within their hiking level.
As trail organizers, we are here to make sure everyone is safe and having a good time. We all come onto the trail together, and we all leave together. Hiking with us is like hiking with friends. When we’re on trail, we work as a team, and never leave anyone behind. If we notice people are getting to far ahead or behind, we make sure we stop regularly, regroup, and continue on trail together. In the end, we are a hiking group, and while it is ultimately up to the individual to keep oneself safe, it is up the group to stay together.
In order to keep up the maintenance of the site and other expenses, we require an annual membership fee of $5 per member, which is due on your first hike with us.
