Shawn Smith - Resketch/How I Stopped Recycling Paper

Shawn Smith thought it was stupid that perfectly good paper was being thrown away and recycled, so he came up with a way to divert a variety of stocks from an untimely death and make interesting sketchbooks for people who believe in drawing. 310% funding on Kickstarter later, and Resketch is gaining ground as a truly unique take on a simple idea. Process, production, environment, Kickstarter, and more will be discussed.

It was great. An excellent example of design thinking applied to a real world problem. The story of the ah-ha moment really showed how observing trumps preconceptions.
