What is your experience in Regenerative Living, and what can you offer to the group?

I've been aware of permaculture design principles just as a function of logic since the early nineties. My dream was to figure out what kinds of crops/animals would thrive rather than subsist in the high plains or mountain valleys and focused on trying to locate a property on the west side of the Sangre de Cristo range that had a hot spring to provide heat and moisture for growing a personal garden and high altitude crops and animals for food fiber and fuel. I completed a Permaculture Design course in 2009 with Sandy Cruz and have maintained some sort of garden that I derived 75% of my food from. I am also raising micro livestock. I am putting together classes and kits for use in first aid and acute illness based on my training in First Aid, CPR, and Clinical Practitioner training in homeopathy. I've also dabbled with medicinal herbs and nutrition to achieve optimal health.

What inspires you about Permaculture?

The design principles.

I'm a 53 year old female renaissance woman, with a bachelor's degree from the U Of Michigan, and 4 years of post graduate work in Classsical Homeopathy and Bio Science. I live in unincorporated Boulder county in a neighborhood with a 600 ft well.
