Pull invasive weeds from Serpentine Hollow

Tynehead Regional Park needs you! Come participate in the Evergreen "Uncover Your Creeks" initiative at Tynehead Regional Park on Saturday November 30th. This event will be taking place at the Serpentine Hollow entrance to the park on 161 St south of 102 Ave (please carpool if possible). We’ll be testing water quality and removing English ivy near the Serpentine River which will have a positive impact on fish habitat in the park!

Through Uncover Your Creeks: Citizen Science in Tynehead Park, you can:

-Learn about local ecology

-Help manage invasive plants

-Monitor water quality in the Serpentine River

Who is a Citizen Scientist? That’s you! Become part of a growing network of active community members through this great opportunity!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
