More and more dancers are looking to Reiki for the wonderful relief it gives and also to find a self-care routine that really works.  The practice of Reiki restores the natural intuitive connection we were born with and triggers our own ability to heal. The purpose of this group is to offer a Meetup to experience Reiki with a special focus on dancers and the special benefits provided by Reiki.

Reiki has helped me most within the realm of self-care & personal development, a proven way that a dancer can strengthen herself in mind, body & spirit, hence the lovely Meetup name of Reiki, Self-Care & The Wise Dancer. Most people are surprised to learn that Reiki healing is accomplished with very little effort as compared to dance training which can involve "blood, sweat & tears"; the very opposite is true of Reiki.

The practice of Reiki is one of the most delightful, relaxing and comfortable experiences imaginable. This Meetup is to introduce Reiki as a gentle, easy and complementary discipline for the dancer. This internationally accepted type of energy healing can be learned by anyone and there are no requirements to enjoy its benefits!

This group is a Reiki Share for dancers and Reiki practitioners. I started this group because I have been enjoying Reiki and dance with many of my friends in the dance world for years now and it is time to invite more people to come find out this best kept secret! All Reiki enthusiasts are invited to this special Meetup tailored to the career dancer.

Whether you are student, teacher and/or performer you will benefit from this foundational form of energy healing. This is the first Reiki Share with a focus on the tens of thousands of dancers of all ages in DFW. Please come and discover the power of Reiki for yourself! Even though Reiki is commonly believed to be a timeless practice, America's first Reiki gatherings started only 70 years ago! I was very surprised recently when I found on Google a half million references on 'Reiki for dancers' to check out! You are invited to come and find out why...
