Do you have ideas for our next Meetup?

Relativity Exploration of Portland requests your help with ideas for our next Meetup!

The Meetup that occurred on Aug. 25 was attended by eight members, and I would describe it as a successful event. Hopefully you will find the information added to the Website about this Meetup interesting.

Those who were present considered the location satisfactory, at least for now. One member who was there, and a couple who did not attend expressed difficulty with Wednesday, so it was suggested that Thursday would be a better day of the week for an evening meeting. In that case the most likely date would be September 16 or 23. I would prefer to schedule somewhat more frequently than once a month if interest is sustained.

I presented the Twin Paradox briefly, though I would like to elaborate on that presentation. I would like to present a DVD on black holes, and another person is interested in applications of relativity, such as atomic clocks and optics.

If you have suggestions about a venue to meet, an activity, or anything else -- please let us know!
