LAST CALL for The Rose Garden

Hermann Park's magnificent rose garden is GOING TO BE DESTROYED FOR PARKING. Yes, that's the plan this summer! Before it gets scorching let's click those gorgeous roses together. Macro or full-length! Meet by the fountain in front of the Garden Center around 9 AM. (Sorry to spring this on U so late!)

Michele, since I am new to Houston, where is the best place for parking?

Right in front of the Garden Center, which is kitty-corner to natural History Museum! See ya!

Come early, it's going to be warm! Wear a hat or sunscreen. Bring your own water bottle because the garden ctr. will probably be closed.

DESTROYED FOR PARKING? Not according to The Hermann Park Conservancy web site: The existing 15-acre Garden Center site will be reborn as the Centennial Gardens in celebration of the Park’s milestone birthday. It will delight visitors with traditional features like the rose garden, and new areas to explore, such as an interactive family garden and a sculpture promenade featuring public art donated by countries around the world.

Hope to see some of y'all again! ;)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
