Republic Members' Day and AGM

Republic's own event so if you want to go do remember to book tickets (£4 each) using the link below - an RSVP on here won't get you in! Here is the info from the Republic website:

Republic’s Members’ Day is your chance to discuss the campaign, the issues and to hear about our plans for the coming months. The Members’ Day incorporates Republic’s Annual General Meeting, where you can hear reports from our board, treasurer and CEO.

Tickets are just £4

The Members’ Day is open to members and their guests – places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

Book your tickets at republic-members-day.eventbrite.co.uk

Full details of the agenda will be published in March.

The 2014 Members’ Day will include a review of what Republic is achieving with your support.  You’ll also hear from a number of campaigners who will talk about what they’re doing in areas such as local campaigning, universities, online campaigning and events.

Why is the Members’ Day and AGM so early in the year?

Following a review of Republic’s 2013 AGM and Members’ Day – and our events calendar – Republic’s board of directors has decided to move the AGM to the Spring.  This year it will be held on May 10, next year a little earlier.

Reports to members will take into account the changed reporting year and shorter period since the last AGM.

By moving the Members’ Day to the Spring it will become the opening event of the year, will allow us to prepare the event during quieter months and will allow us to spread our events more evenly across the year.

The board has also decided to charge a small fee of £4 for the Members’ Day – to help cover costs and assist us in preparing and planning the event.

The 2013 Members’ Day was a great event that received a lot of enthusiastic feedback from members.  We look forward to another great day on May 10.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
