November 20, 2012--NYC Votes! invites the voters of New York City to share their 2012 Election Day experiences at the New York City Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC) public hearing. The hearing will be on Monday, November 26 at 4:30PM at the New York Institute of Technology, located at 16 West 61st Street, in the 11th Floor Conference Room. NYC Votes! is the non-partisan voter engagement campaign of the New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) and its Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC). In addition to promoting voter registration, participation, and civic engagement in New York City through its many programs and partnerships, NYC Votes! sponsors the city’s official Debate Program and produces the citywide Voter Guide.
We are a Political and Social Mixer, primarily for, but not exclusively, Republican Party activist. Conservative, Libertarian and Independents are included in our group.
All of our members are concerned about the political culture and are actively working to improve society by leveraging the influence of the Republican Party. We want to encourage people to take part in politics either by seeking elective office, electioneering for the candidate of their choice or in other appropriate ways that contribute to a healthy civic spirit
We create an open and spirited forum for discussion of the important topics that make for an informed and engaged electorate.
