If you are looking to buy a home or business, have several questions, know a few things but still have several questions, this is the group for you. We will discuss many things including financing, researching neighbourhoods, talk about components when buying a business, what kind of resources are available, what to look for, etc.

There are a lot of people who have never owned a property, ever, for various reasons. There are also a lot of people who have never invested in a small business before, even though the thought has crossed their minds several times. This group is for people who are looking to buy a home or business, have questions, need to know what properties are selling for in their desired neighbourhoods AS WELL AS people who are interested in investing in a small business and go towards the self employment path.

My background - I am an MBA (Deans List) from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. I am also a licensed Realtor. Having worked several years in the IT field in management capacity, I had a strong urge to be self employed. I currently own a successful business and also like to invest in homes. Through this journey, I have learnt many things and have helped many friends with understanding the process of buying a business to helping them with due diligence when making an offer, residential or commercial.

The purpose of this group is to meet with new people, both experienced and in-experienced, who want to own property, residential or commercial, OR who some day wish to be self employed. There are no right or wrong questions, no ego's, everyone comes with an intention to share their experiences and get their queries clarified and hopefully we will all learn from each other and have some fun while doing so.
