Camden Restart Party @ Athlone Community Hall

Hi Restarters, in May we visit a new venue in Kentish Town - the Athlone Community Hall, offered to us by Origin Housing. This place used to be a bomb shelter long ago. It has a nice garden in the front - hopefully we will be able to enjoy it, weather permitting. Some refreshments will be provided, but please feel free to bring snacks and drinks to share.

Do you have problems with a small electronic or electrical device, and you want to learn how to repair it? Come along, to repair or to help others learn how to repair.

Take back control of your e-stuff, never feel victim to obsolescence again. Slow laptops, broken printers, smartphones, coffee grinders, you name it. We help you learn how to fix all kinds of devices, starting with troubleshooting, advising on spare parts if necessary and more.

***At this Restart Party, we are collecting end-of-life smartphones and functioning dumb phones with their power cables. Please bring them to give them a second life.***

We always look forward to welcome new volunteer repairers to join the group and meet the team.

Closest station: Kentish Town West Overground (less than 5 minutes away)

Please arrive before 8pm if you would like help and remember: we're happy to help for you to learn how to repair. We are not repair professionals, and Restart Parties are a community self-repair space. Attending means that you take responsibility for your own gadget, your own data, so please do not forget to back-up your data.
