Do you have repair skills? If so, what kind? If not, what would you like to learn?

As an industrial designer I don't feel intimidated by electronic appliances, I have disassembled from printers, fruit juicers to simple torches. If I can glue it, melt it, sugru it, sew it, I try.. but I would like to learn basic skills about electronic circuits.

What inspires you to repair or seek out help repairing?

In my house nothing would go to the trash bin withouth trying to repair it, upcycle it or giving it away to someone else. My father still has his fax machine from the 90s and my mother still makes fresh orange and carrot juice with the fruit juicer she received as a wedding gift 30 years ago. I don't feel comfortable in this disposable, consumption-obsessed generation.

Introduction

Anti-consumption industrial designer, I have travelled around the world learning about sustainable development, I love DIY stuff, gardening, soya milk capuccino, chocolate, dark beer and I have a lot of questions... :)
