Reston Stitch n' Bitch Weekly Meetup

Are you tied up in knots or confused with the directions you are working with? Post a message under Messages and we'll help you find a solution. If you're an expert or have learned a nifty trick, please consider sharing it with us. Brand new? Welcome! We are happy to get you started or sort out what isn't clear.

Note- Champs is located at the opposite end of Plaza America from Michaels.  It is located just off Sunset Hills Road east of Reston Parkway (heading in the direction of Wiehle Ave.)  Driving south along Reston Parkway heading away from the Town Center, turn left on Sunset Hills Rd.  Make your 2nd right on to Plaza America Drive (you could also make your third right to enter Plaza America).  Make a left at the 3 way stop.  Champps will be on your right once you make the turn.  Ask for the Reston Knitters     There is open air parking right around the restaurant but parking immediately near the restaurant may be limited.  Still there is ample parking in plaza overall.    If you would like my cell phone, please email me and I'll be glad to send it to you. Looking forward to meeting you! Happy stitching :-)

Do you specifically want a pull-over or will a cardigan do? I knit Eunny Jang Tangled Yoke Cardigan and loved it. Although it is a cardigan it was knit on circulars from the bottom up with the sleeves and body joined at the yoke. It is not knit in the round being a cardigan...but it is worth it. Loved knitting it and DD loves the sweater. Really great sweater pattern.

    Hey Group!
A loooooong time ago I knit an "Icelandic Sweater" - from a pattern book from a local knitting shop that doesn't exist anymore.
The only real reason I liked it was because it used round needles and you knit from the bottom up, then knit the sleeves from the bottom up then join all three together and knit the yoke, decreasing until the neck hole.

I'm looking for something like that again.

    Anybody know of anything?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
