crochet and a little needle tatting. not coordinated enough for knitting. hahaha
when I was little, my grandma tried to teach me, but I didn't have the attention span. Learned in 2001 through classes at Michael's craft store
I have been crocheting since 2001. I used to belong to a lovely group of crochers but they have disbanded and moved away. Looking for a new group of crochet friends to help keep me on track with my projects and side track me with new projects. :o)
It is a great group of gals (and the occassional guy). The members vary by age, profession and come from all over No Va. They are very welcoming of anyone who wants to stop in and stitch; be it knitting, crochet, tatting, cross-stitch, whatever! Everyone likes to see what others are working on, share stories about what is going on with their lives, their projects. Very open to new people (unlike some other groups I've dealt with).
