I'm trying something new by adding a monthly photo contest. The winner will receive $20 off any of my classes or workshops. Plus the winning photo will be featured as this meetup's avatar for the next month.

For the first contest will will keep it easy and start with the topic "Winter". Here is my example of a recent winter shot I took of my daughter.




You will need to host your image on a site like flickr and then click the Insert image button next to the smilie face above and paste in the link that flickr gives you. Please keep the files no larger than 600 pixels on the longest side.

The winning image will be chosen by me on Feb. 1 st and posted as the groups new avatar.
