I spoke to the owner today and we can get in an hour early (9 am as they usually open at 10 am). The cost is usually $5 per person but if we have a group over 6 people its $3 and you can pay at the time of admission.

If you would like some close-up/macro photography instruction you can pay me on that day. ($30 per hour per person)

I recommend bringing a tripod. Other useful accessories may include a remote trigger release, a macro lens, a close-up filter etc...

I use my Canon 70-200 mm lens with the Canon 500D closeup filter.
