Ruecker Wildlife Refuge - Weber Hike #35

Difficulty: Easy

Blaze Orange: Not Required

This is for anyone who is either trying to complete the Weber 40 or wants a scenic AM walk.

This Audubon property is located on the shores of the Sakonnet River. There are many species of birds here. Salt marshes and good views of Portsmouth accross the River.

Access: Follow Rt. 77 South from the village of Tiverton. Travel  about 3 miles to Seapowet Rd. Turn right onto Seapowet and less than .5 miles on the right is the parking lot for Ruecker Refuge

    I thought it would dry up by now, but my woods out here are totally wet and buggy. So I am going to back out of this hike. For the brave hearts going, enjoy!

      Since it is my 1st one I'd prefer to do only 1 and the longer hike is the one I'd like to do. I often walk a mile or 2 on my own...not hiking of course just walking around the neighborhood.
