Roger Williams Park, in the southern part of Providence, is an elaborately landscaped 427-acre city park and a National Historic District. The park contains seven lakes which comprise approximately 98 acres and has plenty of paths that we can walk.
We will be meeting at 1:00 PM in the Park Carousel parking lot and starting our walk shortly thereafter. From the Carousel Parking lot we will walk some of the interior park paths to the Park's perimeter path and finish near the Temple of Music at about 3:00 PM.
We held this event last year and the weather could not have been nicer for an October afternoon.
