For over 265 years, Mount Hope Farm has been a country retreat. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Farm is a sanctuary for walking or jogging and an enchanted location for a wedding, corporate retreat, weekend getaway or special event.

When the Mount Hope Trust acquired the Farm in 1999, the intent was to preserve and protect the integrity of its natural assets and its historical structures. This has been the ongoing mission. The acreage that constitutes the Farm is serene and picturesque in all seasons. Opportunities abound for guests to walk, observe the flora and fauna, and be at peace in these spaces. We ask that our guests appreciate all that Mount Hope Farm represents, and work with us to maintain this historic and pristine property.

Mount Hope Farm is open to the public. For the convenience and safety of our day guests and visitors, the public access to Mount Hope Farm’s entrance and parking is located at South Pasture Road (500’ south of the main entrance). On a day-to-day basis, vehicle traffic is prohibited from roadways into the Farm and beyond the gated areas.

Finding a "chair" in the middle of the woods. How hard could it be?
