AMC Bridge Building Project Arcadia Managment Area

  • BLAZE ORANGE REQUIRED
  • Hi Everyone ,

Our friends from the  AMC will be looking for volunteers to help  with a bridge building project in   Arcadia Management Area at 9:00 A.M  12/ 22/12 . I have volunteered myself and hopefully some of you to help out . We will be working under the direction of Chris Shafer from  the AMC . We have helped out a few times this year and I would  like to do so again . Bring your Christmas Spirit and a strong back and  lets help the the people who maintain the trails we love to hike on ..What better way to show your appreciation than by giving back a little .The reason  this time was picked because shot gun  season is closed for a breif period .So leave the body amor at home and come join us.  No experience required. All tools and materials will be provided by the AMC.  Bring lunch, water, work gloves .  Wear hiking boots or equivalent with a good tread.  Organizers may postpone if weather becomes a factor .

This is a great cause and I hope to see  you on 12/22/12 .

    See you soon ,

Hi Michelle. This Meetup is not a hike at all. It is an all day bridge building work project we are helping another club with. Wednesday's J.B. Hudson Trail Meetup is a hike, but not an exercise hike. Both are full and have waiting lists. I will be posting my Sunday Wolf Hill exercise hike sometime mid week. Look for it. We'll be happy to have you back. BTW, you were awesome last week! You ran us into the ground!

Folks, if I do not have to report to my son's military station this Saturday for a family event, I can be there. It is not definite yet. I will help if I do not have to go.

Normally the bridges we build last for several years, but sometimes .. wait... oh.. never mind.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
