Shamanic Journey Circle
Facilitated by Cyndy “Snake Dancer” Paige
4th Friday of every month from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
At the Centre for Vibrant Living
331 E. State Street
Kennett Square, PA 19348
Process: In this circle you will deepen your relationship with the ancient ways of the shaman. Journeying can serve as a powerful support for the many experiences we go through in our lives. As you follow the heartbeat of the drum, you will enter the shamanic state of consciousness to seek guidance, insight and healing. As humans all over the Earth have done for millennia, we will journey to remember our connection with the Earth and all of her creature teachers. Journeying is an excellent way to renew your relationship with Spirit and strengthen the power of your intuition.
Intent: I teach the Shamanic Journey circles in harmony with the lessons of the Native American Medicine Wheel which I live, and which points us to nature as our Teacher. Said more simply, there is a lesson or intent each month for the journeys that we experience during the circle. In the Spring we look to the Eagle for inspiration and she teaches us about our mental world...Clarity, Wisdom and Illumination. In the Summer months under the wheel we look to the Coyote for inspiration and she offer us teachings about our emotional world...Growth, Trust and Love. In the Fall we look to Bear for lessons about our spiritual world...Experience, Introspection and Strength and in the Winter months under the wheel the White Buffalo offers us teachings about our physical world...Cleansing, Renewal and Purity. Of course, if we take the Medicine Wheel deeper...each season, teaches us about all aspects of our earth walk. Although I offer the lessons under the Medicine Wheel as one possible intent for our journey work, if you or Spirit call you to another intent, that is absolutely the most important intent to hold.
Energy Exchange and Practical Preparation: The energy exchange for the circle is $25.00, and I invite you to dress comfortably. If you are a person who likes to record your personal experiences you may want to bring a journal. You will be lying on hardwood floors so I invite you to bring a pad, blanket or throw for your comfort. Chairs are available if you choose to sit.
Registration: Please honor me with a call to (610)[masked] or send an email to [masked] to let me know that you are coming. Newcomers to this work are welcomed and honored. However, if you have no experience with doing a shamanic journey – kindly schedule a group or private session with me and I will teach you. Also, look for the Self-Healing through Shamanic Journey workshops that I periodically schedule at the Centre. Although I teach from a Native American foundation, all paths are welcome. In fact, you will find the folks who come to be quite eclectic.
