Extra Billy's/Lickinghole Creek Collaboration - Early Entry for RBL Members

On Saturday September 7th, Extra Billy's Brewery and Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery will be releasing their new collaboration beer, "Continental Shift."

Richmond Beer Lovers has been invited to enjoy another "early entry" for this public release party (we must have made an impression at the Midnight/Lickinghole event -- keep up the good work, RBLers!)

RBLers signing up for this event need to be at the brewery by noon on the 7th to get the first tasting – the public event starts at 1.

Description from Extra Billy's Facebook event page below:

It's the official release of Continental Shift, our single hop Nelson Sauvin IPA collaboratively brewed with our friends at Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery. Rappahannock River Oyster Co. will be our guest for this occasion, serving up the best raw oysters around!! Oysters have been known to pair well with dry white wines, and Continental Shift, well...

Continental Shift is exclusively brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops; a very unique and extraordinary hop grown in New Zealand. Nelson Sauvin, named after the Sauvignon Blanc grapes found in white wines, provides flavors and aromas of fresh crushed white wine grapes, gooseberries, and tropical notes of tangerines and grapefruit. Perfectly balanced with a dry, crisp finish, you'll find yourself making a "Shift" from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern.

Sean-Thomas Pumphrey (Owner, Brewer) and David Achkio (Head Brewer) from Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery will be in attendance, as well as our Head Brewer, Brandon Tolbert. So join us for some solid beers, succulent oysters, slow smoked barbeque, and an overall great time!! See you there!!
