Come on out to our friendly tabletop gaming sessions. Beginners, first-timers experts, and everyone in between is welcome.

Bring your Eurogames, gateway games, light weight games, and your whatever games.

We have the amenities for four tables of gaming.

There is plenty of parking in front of the house and around the neighborhood. I always hate not knowing where I am going to park so I cobbled together a parking map. Click here for parking.

You can see the house game collection here: Nathan's Games

My intent is to provide snacks and beverages, but I encourage you to bring some goodies as well. The earlier I can get RSVPs the more creative I can be food wise.

Feel free to send any questions or comments via email or leave them below.

Thank you to everyone who came out and a second thanks to people who brought some snackage. You all are always fantastic and generous guests.

In an amazing Tabletop at Nathan's first, no innocent game pieces were injured. Boon the destroyer is restless his component hunger goes unquenched.

Games played: Two tables of Lords of Waterdeep followed by Timeline, Libertalia, and Trains.

Added Matt and Dan's collections to the description if someone wants to request a game from them. Anyone have any other games in addition to or besides Waterdeep they wanna teach or learn this week?

For my part a few I have kinda been hankering to play again(and fall into the easy to learn/teach category) Discworld: Ankh-Morpork, Seeland, Smallworld, Firenze, Thurn and Taxis, Portobello Market, and Libertalia. Ok more than a few, I guess. Just excited to game again.

I, too, am excited to game, AND I'm down to learn any of the games you mentioned above, but if I'm being honest libertalia would be at the top of that list. What can I say? I can't resist pirate-themed games. That and I'm not familiar with a lot of the list.

I love Smallworld and I've been wanting to play Thurn and Taxis as well!

I hate to do this again but can't make it. This month has been crazy busy with traveling for work and grad school interviews.

I'm on call tomorrow, so as long as I don't get involved in a long game ill be good.

Dan, could you bring your copy of Waterdeep? That gives the option to run two games at once(since we are both able to teach it if needed).

      Yup

Thursday gaming is approaching again. I'll have the usual cooler of drinks and counter of snacks.

For first timers, be not afraid or intimidated. Attendees have always been willing and patient to teach games.

Looking to plan out games, we usually get two to three games played per group. If you have something you want to play talk about it in the comments and definitely bring it.

Right now the only game mentioned is Lords of Waterdeep. If the attendee list holds at around 6-10 we'll need to get a second "first" game planned. Or if someone else has a copy we can do two concurrent games.

I'm not a stickler on arrival times, but if you arrive late you run the risk of being the odd person out. No wants this, especially me. It is stressful and upsetting as an event host to see someone having to wait for a game and not having a good time. That said it can sometimes take 5 to 10 minutes to get things rolling. If you are going to be late just let us know and we can try to work around it.

I'm ready for game night! I think it's about time I played a eurogame. I was told lords of waterdeep was a good introductory representation of what euro games have to offer. So if anyone wants to get in on a game of that Thursday/knows how to play, let's do it!

Yeah Dan kept saying how good a game it was. I would like to play it too.

Lords of Waterdeep is definitely a good first worker placement and will play up to 6 with the expansion (that sounds like crazy talk). The game does have a bit of luck via card draws, but it is rarely something that cannot be mitigated. Intrigue cards and Mandatory quests add a little "take that". It is easy teach and has decent depth of strategy.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
